Viral Post Claims Epstein Documents Were the Final Straw as Longtime MAGA Supporter Walks Away. (Photo by Adam The Angler/X)
In a fiery and profanity-laced post that has gained traction across right-wing corners of X, self-described disabled U.S. Navy veteran AdamTheAngler (@AdamtheGreatTV) announced he is severing ties with the MAGA movement after nearly a decade of support.
The veteran, who previously identified strongly with “America First” principles, 2nd Amendment advocacy, and libertarian-leaning views, declared that recent developments surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein document releases have crossed an unbreakable personal line.
“After almost a decade, I am no longer MAGA,” he wrote in the viral post dated February 16, 2026. “My principles mean more to me than giving away my loyalty. And certainly not worth selling my soul for Israel.”The message continued with explicit condemnations:
“Fuck Israel!”
“Fuck MAGA!”
“Fuck Trump!”
“Fuck Netanyahu!”
“Fuck the Democrats!”
“Fuck cops!”
“Fuck ICE!”
He concluded by demanding the full, unredacted release of Epstein-related files, referring to government figures in highly charged language as “pedo protecting elitist” actors. Attached to the post was a photograph of the author armed with a rifle attending a 2024 Trump-Vance rally, underscoring the dramatic shift from enthusiastic supporter to outspoken critic.
The outburst appears directly tied to the U.S. Department of Justice’s February 2026 release of over three million pages of Epstein-related documents. Among the materials are repeated mentions of Donald Trump (reportedly over 1,000 times in various contexts), along with longstanding speculation about Epstein’s possible connections to Israeli intelligence (Mossad).
Several documents cite unverified informant claims and historical associations with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak that have reignited conspiracy discussions in both mainstream and fringe online spaces. Israeli intelligence officials and former leaders have firmly rejected claims that Epstein operated as a Mossad asset, calling such theories baseless.
AdamTheAngler’s post drew mixed reactions on X: Several users expressed agreement, with at least one other self-identified former Trump supporter echoing the sentiment: “I’m with you, Adam. I was a strong supporter of Trump. Not anymore.” Others mocked or dismissed the message, including one reply that labelled it “not MAGA HQ approved content.”
The veteran’s bio has since been updated to emphasize “America Only ” followed by the blunt phrase “Jews Last,” signaling a sharp pivot toward isolationist and anti-Israel positions. While individual defections rarely shift broad political coalitions, the public’s break from a visible pro-Trump veteran, especially one who once attended armed rallies in support, highlights growing fractures within segments of the MAGA base amid the Epstein document fallout and foreign policy debates.
The full DOJ Epstein archive remains under intense scrutiny, with calls from across the ideological spectrum for complete transparency continuing to mount.
