Orlando Bloom is reportedly showing interest in dating Nicole Kidman following her recent separation from country singer Keith Urban. According to New Idea magazine, the 48-year-old English actor has placed Kidman “at the top” of his dating wish list after she filed for divorce from Urban on September 30, 2025.
Bloom, who ended his relationship with singer Katy Perry in June, is said to have long admired Kidman. A source told the outlet, “Orlando has Nicole at the top of his dream date wish list, and not just because of her A-list status. He’s always had a thing for Nicole, for a very simple reason – they have history together.”
While the two stars have never dated publicly, they reportedly shared a flirtatious connection more than two decades ago. Back in March 2002, shortly after Kidman’s split from Tom Cruise, she and Bloom were seen together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, appearing close throughout the evening.
“There was chemistry between them, all night,” an insider recalled. “Orlando was clearly entranced by Nicole, and she loved his attention. But the truth is, she didn’t take him seriously. He was devastated.”
Now, it seems Bloom may be ready to rekindle that spark. Another source claimed the actor has been making subtle efforts to reconnect with the Big Little Lies star, particularly as his ex-fiancée, Perry, has reportedly moved on with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“Orlando wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s determined to land a date with Nicole,” the insider said. “Nicole has been lonely for a while. Having a charming dinner with a fun Brit like Orlando could be just what she needs.”
