Influencer Estee Williams reveals her 3-month-old baby went into Cardiac Arrest

Tradwife influencer Estee Williams shared an emotional and heartbreaking update on Christmas Eve, revealing that her three-month-old daughter is fighting for her life after going into cardiac arrest.

Williams, who has more than 300,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram, posted a hospital photo showing part of her infant daughter Estelle’s legs surrounded by medical tubing and machines. In the caption, she explained the terrifying ordeal her family is facing.

“My little Estelle went into cardiac arrest in the middle of the night,” Williams wrote. “Chest compressions were done for 47 minutes and she’s now on full life support (ECMO).” She pleaded with followers, adding, “Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers,” and warned that “This next week is a scary time as we see what her next option will be.”

Williams and her husband, Conner, welcomed Estelle on September 5. According to a GoFundMe started by Estelle’s grandmother, Holly Nielsen, complications began just hours after birth. About 14 hours after she was born, a pediatrician detected a heart murmur. Estelle then failed two oxygen tests and spent five days in the NICU.

“During that time, doctors discovered something no parent is ever prepared to hear,” Nielsen wrote. “Baby E had two ventricular septal defects – two holes in the walls of her heart.”

Although Estelle was eventually discharged, her early weeks at home were filled with constant monitoring, cardiology appointments, and echocardiograms. She was placed on Lasix, later supplemented with potassium, as her heart and lungs struggled. Feeding also became difficult, with Estelle refusing breastfeeding and requiring fortified bottles to maintain weight.

As weeks passed, Estelle developed a cough, extreme fatigue, and other signs that her condition was worsening. On November 20, she underwent open-heart surgery. During the procedure, surgeons discovered that one VSD was “extremely large and rare,” requiring them to cut into her heart muscle to place a patch. She spent nearly four hours on a heart-lung bypass machine.

Since then, Estelle has remained in the PICU, facing oxygen instability, heart rhythm issues, and multiple surgeries. On December 13, she underwent another open chest procedure. Days later, her family was finally able to hold her for the first time, according to the Mayo Clinic.

That hope was shaken again this week when Estelle suffered another medical crisis and required CPR. While tests showed no brain bleed and normal brain activity, doctors are now considering advanced life support options and the possibility of a heart transplant.

“At this time, no final decisions have been made, and we are all continuing to pray for a miracle,” Nielsen wrote. As of Thursday, the family’s fundraiser had raised nearly $22,000 to help cover medical expenses and lost income as they remain by Estelle’s side.
