Lori Loughlin ‘feels like she got her spark back’ and is dating again after split from Mossimo Giannulli

Nearly six months after her high-profile separation from fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, actress Lori Loughlin is reportedly embracing a fresh chapter and that includes stepping back into the dating world.

According to an insider who spoke to Us Weekly, the 61-year-old Full House star “has been putting herself back out there … and is dating again.” The source was quick to clarify, however, that the actress is not looking for anything serious just yet, describing her approach as “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.”

By all accounts, the new chapter appears to be doing Loughlin a world of good. Those close to her say she “feels like she got her spark back” and “is in such a good headspace” since parting ways with Giannulli. Friends have reportedly noticed a visible shift in her energy and outlook.

“The dust has settled, and she’s really leaning into this season of life, enjoying her independence, spending a lot of time with her girls and having fun,” a confidant told the publication.

Loughlin’s inner circle has apparently taken an active role in supporting her social life, with close friends reportedly “trying to set her up” as she navigates single life. The When Calls the Heart actress is said to feel that “her life has gotten better and less heavy recently” a notable turnaround following what was undoubtedly a difficult period.

A separate source echoed the sentiment, noting that Loughlin is “still kind of shaking off” the separation but “has been leaning on her girlfriends and having fun” in the process.

Loughlin and Giannulli announced their split in October 2025, ending a 28-year marriage. The former couple shares two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade. Neither party has publicly addressed the reasons behind their separation. For Loughlin, it seems the focus now is firmly on moving forward on her own terms and at her own pace.
