The boyfriend of podcast host and former reality TV personality Lindsie Chrisley has been arrested on felony strangulation and misdemeanor battery charges following an alleged violent incident in Georgia.
David Landsman was booked into the Cherokee County jail on April 10 after authorities responded to a disturbance in Woodstock, Georgia, in the early hours of the morning. He has since been released. The case was first reported by People.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Landsman allegedly placed his hand around the victim’s neck and applied pressure, telling them they were “not going anywhere.” He is further accused of pushing the individual out of a residence, causing them to fall and sustain a head injury. The victim suffered a visible laceration with bleeding as a result of the incident.
Local police confirmed they responded to the scene around 1 a.m. Authorities noted that cases of this nature typically involve follow-up investigations to ensure all details are thoroughly reviewed. As of now, Landsman has not been formally charged by prosecutors, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Chrisley, who hosts a podcast and has built a public profile through media appearances, is the daughter of Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley the stars of the former USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best. Her parents have been at the center of a highly publicized legal case in recent years, with both convicted on federal fraud and tax evasion charges.
Lindsie Chrisley has largely carved out her own public identity separate from her family’s legal troubles, becoming known for her candid commentary on relationships, mental health, and personal growth through her podcast platform. The latest incident involving Landsman has drawn renewed public attention to her personal life.
The nature of Landsman’s relationship to the victim named in the affidavit has not been officially confirmed by authorities, and neither Chrisley nor Landsman has issued a public statement regarding the arrest. Further developments are expected as the case moves through the legal process.
Felony aggravated assault by strangulation is considered a serious charge under Georgia law and can carry significant penalties upon conviction.
