Kim Kardashian has sparked fresh controversy after declaring her belief that the 1969 moon landing was fake, a claim she shared with actress Sarah Paulson during the latest episode of The Kardashians.
In a scene from the October 30 episode, the 45-year-old reality star was seen chatting with her All’s Fair co-star between takes when she began discussing the Apollo 11 mission. Kim told Sarah, “I’m sending you, so far, a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and… the other one.”
Sarah replied, “Yes, do it,” encouraging Kim to send over the material.
Kim then described an interview she had seen with Buzz Aldrin, saying, “This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary, but it wasn’t, cause it didn’t happen.’”

The SKIMS founder suggested Aldrin’s age might explain his remarks, but concluded firmly, “So I think it didn’t happen.”
Sarah appeared amused but curious, telling Kim she planned to go on a “massive deep dive” after reading the so-called evidence Kim had shared. According to Sarah, Kim frequently sends her conspiracy theories to explore.
Later in the episode, a producer asked Kim directly whether she truly believed the moon landing never happened. Kim responded without hesitation, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.”
She went on to cite several points she believes support her view, including inconsistencies she claimed to have seen in historical footage and interviews. “I’ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now in interviews,” she said.

“Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon—why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon have a different [foot]print than the photos,” Kim continued. “Why are there no stars?”
When asked how she responds to people who call her “crazy,” Kim brushed off the criticism. “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what,” she said. “But like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”
Her remarks quickly drew attention online, with fans debating whether the reality star was serious or simply indulging in curiosity. Either way, Kim Kardashian’s moon landing comments have reignited one of the most enduring conspiracy theories in modern history.
