Lady Gaga is set to release a new single next month if you didn’t already know. Though, it’s not the Gaga news that has us ooh la la-ing on this Tuesday afternoon.
Instead, we’re all enamored with the singer’s most recent Instagram image, in which she debuted a whole new hairstyle: the micro-fringe. It may be little, but it packs a punch. Even Kate Hudson left a little love in the comments of the pic, writing: “Ah this lewk makes me squeeeeel!!! đ€”.
As per Cosmopolitan, Gaga’s brow-grazing micro-fringe was styled in a stunning bridal updo and topped off with the biggest feathered headdress we’ve ever seen. It, along with the flapper fringed dress (complete with giant shoulder pads), is giving us all of Gaga’s Old Hollywood glam vibes.
With nearly two decades in the spotlight, it should come as no surprise that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the A Star Is Born actor with a fringe. We saw her share a bathroom mirror selfie (as you do) earlier this year, revealing that she had joined the curtain bangs trend. She even got the shortest micro fringe we’d ever seen last year.
Her most recent look, on the other hand, features a dramatic winged liner, chiseled contour, and red lip that we’re sure Marilyn Monroe would approve of.
We can’t wait to see what she brings to the UK stage in the coming months if this is a pre-Chromatica Ball look. I’m confident it’ll be talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done.
