Brooks Nader is opening up about stepping back from cosmetic fillers after what she described as a noticeable migration issue. The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model confirmed that she recently had her lip filler dissolved, sharing candid updates with fans across her social media.
Brooks posted a series of Instagram Stories that included close-up before-and-after photos. Some of the images showed visible bruising around her lips, offering a raw look at the aftermath of the procedure. Alongside the photos, she wrote that she was “feeling like my old self,” suggesting the change has been a positive one for her both physically and emotionally.
The shift did not come completely out of the blue. Her sister, Sarah Jane Nader, first hinted at the change in a December 23 TikTok, though she did not go into detail at the time. Weeks later, Sarah Jane shared a smiling photo of Brooks on her Instagram Stories and called her “filler-free.” Brooks reposted the image to her own Stories, adding that she had the last of her filler dissolved just before heading out on a trip to Cabo.
Brooks has been honest about the fact that the filler had not been sitting the way she hoped. She admitted that it had migrated significantly and shared a new side-profile photo, poking fun at herself for choosing what she described as an unflattering angle. She also reshared fan comments reacting to her new look.

Several followers wrote that she looks younger and more like herself without filler, sentiments that Brooks appeared to agree with by reposting them. Along with the cosmetic change, Brooks hinted she might be ready for another shift in her appearance. She teased the idea of going brunette, leaving fans to wonder if a hair transformation could be next.
Her openness about beauty standards is not new. In November, Brooks spoke frankly with Bustle about the cosmetic procedures she has had over the years, including a nose job, veneers, and Botox to her neck and jawline. She also revealed that she has used GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, explaining that the decision came after pressure from modeling clients.

That part of her life became a major storyline on her family’s reality series Love Thy Nader. On the show, Brooks admitted to micro-dosing the medication at first, then increasing her usage to prepare for a Maxim cover. One episode showed a serious turning point when her sisters said they found her nearly unconscious in a bathtub, prompting an intervention.
Despite acknowledging the risks, Brooks admitted she is still struggling with stepping away from the medication. “I’m still on it. It’s a crutch for me,” she told Bustle. “It’s not healthy. I should get off it. I’ll be honest about that.”
By sharing both the physical and emotional sides of her experiences, Brooks continues to present a more unfiltered view of life in the modeling world, one that resonates with followers who appreciate her willingness to be honest about the pressures behind the scenes.
