Megan Fox is not being silent on the trolls of the age gap criticism between her and beau Machine Gun Kelly.
On Wednesday, she appeared in an interview InStyle, the actress spoke about the “mom-shaming” she bears for being seen out with the rapper while her children staying at home when the discussion straight to the hate she accepts for being somewhat older than her boyfriend.
“You want to talk about patriarchy?” she started. “The fact that he’s four years younger than me, and people want to act like I’m dating a younger man. He’s 31, and I’m 35. Granted, he’s lived like he’s 19 his whole life, but he isn’t 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.”
“Four years? Go f— yourself. We would have been in high school together. That’s so ridiculous that women are treated that way.”
The star clarified the stance that Kelly was not the reason she divorced Brian Austin Green, claiming the rock star had “nothing to do with it.” She explains the timeline of the meetings with him by saying that she met Kelly after she filed for divorce from Green.
In the interim, Fox isn’t the only one in the family dealing with an embarrassing situation, as she said her eldest son Noah 8-year-old, has questions to “mean, awful people and cruel people” online, who smash him for his style choices.
“I don’t want him to ever have to read that sh– because he hears it from little kids at his own school who are like, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses.'”
Later in the day, the “Till Death” star made captions for erasing a comment on Green’s Instagram.
Brian had public a snap of himself kissing his girlfriend, “Dancing with the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess, at Disney World with the caption, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been with someone I can truly share life with. ❤️“
Sharna replied, “There’s no one else I could ever imagine sharing it with. I love you ♥️.”
Then Megan hopped in and shared, “Grateful for Sharna,” with a purple heart emoji, as per Comments by Celebs. Eagle-eyed fans, though, were fast to highlight that the observation has since been erased.
Last year, Brian dated Sharna soon after his breakup with Megan, with whom he shares sons Journey Bodhi, and Noah.
