“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown reportedly filed a detailed harassment and bullying complaint against her co-star David Harbour ahead of production for the show’s fifth and final season, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Brown, who plays Eleven, also known as Jane Hopper, on the hit Netflix series, allegedly submitted “pages and pages” of accusations. The British outlet reported that the complaint triggered a lengthy internal investigation that lasted several months before filming began.
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.” The source also emphasised that none of the allegations were of a sexual nature.

Netflix, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer, and representatives for both actors did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s requests for comment on Sunday.
The timing of the allegations coincides with renewed attention on Harbour’s personal life. Just days before the story surfaced, his ex-wife, British singer Lily Allen, released her new album “West End Girl.” The project includes songs that appear to reference Harbour’s alleged infidelity during their marriage. Allen later discussed the issue in interviews, saying that Harbour had “exceeded the boundaries” of their relationship.
The Daily Mail reported that Harbour faced an internal review following Brown’s complaint, though the results of that inquiry have not been made public. The outlet also noted that Allen “steadfastly supported her husband throughout the ‘brutal’ ordeal,” according to a source close to the situation.
Brown, 20, has been one of Netflix’s biggest stars since “Stranger Things” debuted in 2016. Her character’s relationship with Harbour’s Chief Jim Hopper has been central to the series, making the reported conflict between the two actors especially striking for fans.

Despite the controversy, both Harbour and Brown are expected to return to their roles as the show moves toward its conclusion. Netflix has confirmed that the fifth season will wrap up the sci-fi saga that turned its young cast into global stars.
The first four episodes of “Stranger Things” Season 5 are scheduled for release in the United States on November 26, with the remaining episodes expected to follow in early 2026. Neither actor has publicly addressed the complaint or the outcome of the investigation.
