Orlando Bloom is entering a new phase of his life, listing his longtime Malibu property for $12 million following his split from Katy Perry and ongoing romance speculation.
The Lord of the Rings star originally purchased the beachfront home in 2011 for approximately $2.5 million during his marriage to Miranda Kerr. The couple separated in 2013, but the property remained closely tied to Bloom’s personal life, particularly as a home where he raised his son.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Bloom decided to sell the extensively renovated property after realizing he was unlikely to return. The actor shared that renting out the home last year helped him conclude that it was “the right time to let it go,” marking a symbolic step forward after his breakup with Perry in 2025.
The Malibu residence, located in a gated community, features ocean views, a redesigned open-plan interior and a pool overlooking the beach. Bloom reportedly invested heavily in renovations, incorporating a modern aesthetic with Japanese-inspired elements and custom interiors.
The real estate move comes amid speculation about Bloom’s personal life. The actor was recently spotted at the 2026 Super Bowl alongside model Luisa Laemmel, sparking rumors of a new relationship. Witnesses claimed the pair appeared close during the event.
Following his separation from Perry, Bloom is said to have relocated, signaling a broader lifestyle shift. Meanwhile, Kerr has publicly described Bloom and Perry’s split as amicable, emphasizing a supportive co-parenting dynamic.
As Bloom moves on from both his Malibu home and past relationships, the sale reflects a clear transition into a new chapter, personally and professionally.
