Selena Gomez shares unexpected Foot Kiss with Benny Blanco after Dirty Feet Comments

Selena Gomez surprised listeners and viewers during a recent podcast appearance when she leaned over and kissed husband Benny Blanco’s foot in the middle of a conversation, creating a playful moment that quickly caught attention online.

The unexpected gesture happened during the latest episode of Friends Keep Secrets, Blanco’s podcast co-hosted with Lil Dicky, whose real name is Dave Burd, and Kristin Batalucco. Gomez, 33, joined the show to talk about life, music, and her relationship with the producer, but the episode included a lighthearted moment that paused the discussion.

About 50 minutes into the episode, Gomez, who was seated on the floor next to Blanco, leaned over while he was relaxing on the couch and kissed his index toe during the conversation. Blanco briefly stopped speaking and looked down at what had just happened before smiling and turning toward the podcast’s co-hosts.

“You like that?” Blanco joked as he looked at Burd, 37, and Batalucco.

Gomez immediately reacted by playfully slapping his leg and responding, “Oh, don’t make it a moment!”

Blanco laughed and replied warmly, “No. I wasn’t. I liked it. It made me feel good. I love you so much.”

After the exchange, Gomez continued the affectionate moment by resting her cheek against Blanco’s toes while the conversation continued.

Burd later reflected on the couple’s relationship, recalling the first time he saw them show affection publicly. “I was just thinking about back in Malibu when I first saw you guys display any public display of affection for the first time, and I thought, ‘I think this is going to work out.’ ”

Blanco also shared that he usually tries to keep public displays of affection to a minimum, particularly when Gomez is doing interviews or professional appearances.

“In interviews with her, because I know she likes to keep it professional, I try not to show too much, like … ‘cause she’s her own entity. I want her to shine and be her own independent woman. So I try so hard. I use every bone in my body not to be googly-eyed over her and not want to kiss her and jump her bones all the time,” he said.

Elsewhere in the episode, Gomez described their relationship in glowing terms, telling Blanco that being together “is probably so healthy and one of the greatest things of life.”

The playful moment comes shortly after Blanco’s feet became a talking point online following the debut episode of his podcast on Feb. 24. In that episode, Blanco appeared barefoot while sitting on a couch, and viewers noticed that his feet looked dirty while resting on the cushions in Burd and Batalucco’s home.

Social media users quickly reacted in the YouTube comments, with some calling Blanco’s feet “filthy” and joking that he should wash them.

Blanco later addressed the viral moment during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Feb. 26. Host Jimmy Kimmel even displayed a photo of the feet on a screen while discussing the online reactions.

Blanco responded by removing a sock to reveal a clean foot and jokingly defended himself, saying, “I have great feet. Someone zoom in on my foot. Look at that clean foot. Are you kidding me?”
