Former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner is feeling hurt that her former step-daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, failed to invite her to her wedding with Travis Barker
Caitlyn Jenner is said to be ‘shocked’ that she was not invited to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s lavish Italian wedding in Portifino.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 43, and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, married earlier this month in a stunning ceremony attended by their closest friends and family – but Caitlyn was nowhere to be seen, as per ibtimes.
The 72-year-old reality TV star, who raised Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob with Kris Jenner after their father, Robert Kardashian, died, was reportedly not even invited to her former step-child’s wedding.
Caitlyn missed out on the celebration because Kourtney didn’t think it was necessary to invite her because they don’t talk much.
According to TMZ, there are no hard feelings between Kourtney and Caitlyn, and the blushing bride had no malice in not inviting her former step-father.
Caitlyn simply ‘didn’t make the cut’ for the guestlist.
“She is shocked,” a source from Caitlyn’s team told Page Six in response to the snub.
Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, was married to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner for over 23 years before their divorce in 2013.
Caitlyn came out as transgender in June 2015, two years after they separated.
Caitlyn Jenner initially maintained friendly relations with the Kardashian-Jenner family following her shocking transition.
However, Kris, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe had a falling out with their former stepfather in 2017 over claims Caitlyn made about their mother in her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life.
Caitlyn and the Kardashians’ relationship was strained as a result of the fallout, with fans claiming their relationship was ‘never the same again’ following the public spat.
Caitlyn confirmed her relationship with the entire family has improved during a recent episode of the Full Send podcast, but she admitted that they are no longer as ‘close’ as they once were.
“My relationship with the family is, you know, fine, I mean, we do things together, my kids, this and that,” she told.
“Obviously, Kendall and Kylie, my flesh and blood, I’m very close to them. On the Kardashian side, I see them here and there, but I’m not really close.”
“Kim is probably the closest,” she added.
