Nicole Kidman Reportedly Planning Tell-All Memoir After Split From Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman is reportedly preparing to write an explosive tell-all memoir following what insiders describe as deep personal betrayal by her estranged husband, Keith Urban. The Hollywood actress filed for divorce on September 30 after 19 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and sources say she is now ready to share the full story of their life together.

Radar Online reported that Kidman is still heartbroken over the collapse of her marriage and is considering using a memoir as both a form of closure and a way to reclaim her narrative. According to one insider, the Eyes Wide Shut star has been laying the groundwork for years to eventually pull back the curtain on her private struggles, triumphs, and the challenges that defined both of her marriages.

The source explained that Kidman long resisted telling her story publicly, especially when it came to her first marriage to Tom Cruise, which ran from 1990 to 2001 and remains one of Hollywood’s most discussed breakups.

“Whatever the particulars of Nicole and Tom’s divorce 24 years ago were, she knew at the time it would have been a horrible idea to write a tell-all about her time with him. It would have been a huge distraction from the path she was on, and would have taken over her life right when she had become an A-lister in her own right,” the insider said.

Since then, the actress has built an extraordinary career, collecting awards and developing major film and television projects. “Nicole has lived a lot of life since 2001,” the source added. “She’s won awards and made major hit projects that she helped create.”

Her personal life has been equally full. Kidman and Urban share two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, who are said to be central to her decision to tell her story in her own words. “She’s raised an entire other family, and her daughters are a huge point of pride for her,” the insider noted.

“What better gift can she leave them than her own authentic story, immortalized in print for all time?” However, Kidman’s demanding filming schedule continues to delay the project. She is known for taking on back-to-back film and miniseries roles, making it difficult to dedicate time to writing.

“Nicole is going to tell her story, but she has to be intentional about it; she has to put aside the time. She wants to write something that is actually a hit and can sell hundreds of thousands of copies,” the source concluded.

While no memoir has been officially announced, the prospect of Kidman finally sharing her side of decades of headline-making relationships has already stirred intense interest across the entertainment industry.
