Kim Kardashian is reportedly losing interest in continuing her long-running presence on reality television, as sources say her focus has shifted to other priorities in her life.
According to Radar Online, the American Horror Story actress and entrepreneur has grown weary of filming for The Kardashians, the family’s hit Hulu reality series. A source close to the star revealed that while Kim “doesn’t want to let her mom, Kris Jenner, or the family down,” working on the show is “the last thing on her priority list” right now.
Another insider shared that Kim is trying to balance an overwhelming number of responsibilities, including raising her four children, managing her business ventures, and studying for the California bar exam.
“Kim has reached the point where she has to be realistic about her bandwidth,” said the source. “Between her growing business empire, her four kids, and her ambitions with social justice and her law career, there just aren’t enough hours in the day — something’s got to give.”

The source added that while Kim has no plans to quit the family’s show completely, she intends to scale back her involvement significantly. Although Kim did not attend a traditional law school, she has been studying under an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm. In 2021, she passed the “baby bar” exam after four attempts and now has one more major exam to pass before becoming a licensed attorney.
Her growing commitment to legal reform and social justice has reportedly left less room for filming. “Kim’s priorities have shifted,” the insider said. “She wants to focus on building something more meaningful beyond fame.”
However, her decision has not gone over well with her mother and manager, Kris Jenner. “It’s a nightmare for Kris because Kim is still the fan favorite and she’s also the only one her mom can fully count on,” the insider told Radar Online.
Despite her mom’s concerns, Kim is confident her sisters can take on a bigger role in keeping the show engaging. “Kim is still insisting it can work, but Kris is freaking out,” the source added. “Kim believes her sisters can pick up the slack, which is only fair, as far as she’s concerned, since they wouldn’t even have the life they have if it weren’t for her.”
For now, it appears Kim is ready to prioritize her businesses and law career, marking a possible turning point for the star who helped define modern reality television.
